The mission of The Buffalo News is to provide news and information to the community we serve, and to report it honestly, accurately and fairly. But our service to the community doesn't end there. We believe that being a good newspaper also requires being a good citizen. For that reason, we either initiate or are asked to help support many causes throughout Western New York each year. We respond with cash contributions, promotional support, printed materials, equipment and volunteers — using our resources to make Western New York an even better place to live.
